Jakob Karr

Jakob Karr is an award winning dancer and choreographer originally from Orlando, Florida. He has been fortunate enough to perform all over the country as well as most of Europe, Australia, Japan and India. Most recently, Jakob created an original piece of dance theater called “Ain’t Done Bad,” which premiered Off Broadway this summer in NYC, and landed him a prestigious Drama Desk Award nomination for Choreography.

Class Description
My class features contemporary movement with a jazz approach. We work from a strong technical base, and explore new ways to move and tell stories through an updated lens. I want my class to feel like a safe space for all dancers who want to push themselves to be the very best they can be.
