Class Description
Precision Jazz is a high-energy jazz class that emphasizes musical clarity, clean technique, and dynamic performance. Rooted in the traditions of classic and commercial jazz, this class challenges dancers to execute movement with accuracy, intention, and artistry. Class begins with a rhythm-driven warmup to build alignment, strength, and coordination, followed by progressions and choreography that highlight musicality, transitions, and performance quality.
While inspired by the precision and polish of Rockette-style jazz, this class is designed for all dancers looking to deepen their musicality, sharpen their technique, and develop a more expressive and refined performance presence—whether their goals are in commercial dance, theater, concert work, or beyond.
Kenna’s teaching creates a supportive and focused environment where dancers are encouraged to bring their full selves to the work—sharp, expressive, and committed.
